By the age of two, you should possibly be able to know whether your child is left-handed or right-handed. Here are some advices that I am going to give you to know your child. It is easy and simpke as you have been knowing your child since his/her birth.
1. It can be genetic; If both parents are left-handed, probably it is 50% sure that your child will be left-handed and vice versa.
2. Keep hold of a toy and show it to your baby. See which hand S/he uses to grab it from you. That probably is his strong hand. Also, see which hand he uses to pick up a ball from the ground FIRST.
3. Few kids uses both hands equally. They are ambidextrious. They will use their right hand to pick up a spoon and left hand to play with the ball. Don't worry, you will be able to know during kindergarten.
Lastly, dont force them to use either hands which you prefer them to use. It will cause frustation and anxiety for them and later, give complications.
