His Majesty the King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck visited Paro college of Education yesterday(28/05/2012). He was accompanied by some important persons. They are retired lyonpo's and zimpoen namely Lyonpo Dago Tshering, Dasho Sangay Wangchuck, Zimpoen Dorji Gyeltshen and one more. HM reminded us that it is very much important to know them and that's the reason why HM brought them here. He was not only accompanied by them but also the finest and generous queen Azhi Jetsun Pema was in the scene.
HM talked about the future of government schools over private schools. He courteously advised the future teachers to maintain good pace over education and make the generations brighter over their mentality. HM shared out some jokes to the teachers, HM left his pride and appreciation to the upcoming teachers of Paro College of Education.
Very importantly, he talked about tea making. In the tea, we put in some sugar which comes from abroad, we put on some tea leaves and that too is imported from other nation. At the same time the milk powder has the same comment over it. The only thing we produce is 'WATER'. HM wants to dedicate the message that we must be extra careful about our nation.
HM also focused on 'Discipline',which is very much essential to the teachers especially. ZERO tolerance over indiscipline. It was a very lucky day for everyone of us here. Especially me, I am satisfied with my profession because It is a very good job, inspiring and innovating.
I ensure that, I will do my best to enlighten my students in the future......
